What is anchoring

A car broke down means that the vehicle could not be started or was unfit to continue. In the event of a car breakdown, the owner generally does not have the skills to check and solve it by hand, so most car owners will choose to wait for the rescue. Most of the reasons that cause a car to break down are due to not checking or regularly maintaining and repairing the vehicle while driving. The owner needs to follow the instructions for the use of the vehicle and do the regular maintenance of the vehicle. Anchoring is a professional term, which generally refers to the ship traveling on the sea or in the river after stopping, to prevent the ship from drifting with the wind or waves and throwing down a special anchor to fix the ship. After the vehicle breaks down, turn on the hazard lights and put a tripod or other warning sign 150 meters behind. Turn on the double flashing lights.

The type of anchor

(1) Rod anchor. The anchor jaw and the anchor trunk are usually whole, and there is a crossbar perpendicular to the plane of the anchor claw. Some anchors are mostly double claws, and some are single jaws. When used, one claw is deep in the soil and has a large grip. But because the crossbar is inconvenient to store. So it is mostly used in small ships. The main types of rod anchors are naval anchors, single-claw anchors, Foshan anchors, and Japanese anchors.

(2) Anchor without rod. The anchor jaw and the anchor can rotate relative to each other at a certain angle without a crossbar. When used, two anchor claws meshed into the soil at the same time, which is convenient for anchoring and storage.

(3) Large grip anchor. The anchor claw is wide and can be rotated at a certain angle, and there is a protruding rod body in the middle of the anchor head or anchor claw to play a stabilizing role. Due to the large area and grip of the anchor claw, it is suitable for sandy or soft bottom water. The main types of large grip anchors are Danforth anchors, Markov large claw anchors, and speedboat anchors.

(4) Special anchor. The shape is different from the general anchor, such as a fungus-shaped anchor, the anchor head is fungus or umbrella-like, deep into the soil, large grip, is not easy to move, mostly used for long-term anchoring, and positioning. Such as a fixed anchor for lighthouses, tubes, and barges.

Above we introduced the anchor, introduced his different kinds, and his role. It also introduces what the ancient anchor did. We can know that anchors are also particularly important for ships.
